Helping You Navigate Life’s Challenges with Compassion and Practical Support
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety that keeps you stuck, feeling weighed down by low mood, navigating relationship difficulties, or trying to cope with the effects of past experiences. At times, you may simply feel disconnected from yourself or unsure of how to move forward.
I provide counselling for adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. Whether you're looking to better understand your emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, or create meaningful change, therapy offers a supportive space to explore what matters most to you.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has unique strengths and the capacity for growth. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward your goals.
My Approach to Counselling
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. I tailor therapy to each client's individual needs, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, and challenges that may be contributing to your current difficulties while building practical tools to help you navigate life's ups and downs with greater confidence and resilience.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked in community mental health, peer support, and crisis intervention, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds through some of life's most difficult moments. These experiences continue to shape my compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy.
Whether you're seeking support for a specific concern or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I aim to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can build on your strengths and work toward meaningful change.
